“Journey of the Dream Team”

Through her artistry, Sarah is always excited to share her love for the horses of the Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue (CDHR). CDHR is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2011 by Stacey Golub, DVM, and is dedicated to saving the lives of draft horses that were bound for slaughter, in addition to victims of starvation, neglect, or abuse whose owners are unable to provide for their needs. Sarah was CDHR Vice President from 2015 through 2025.

"Journey of the Dream Team" won the Winnie Award for the Literary Rescue Category at the Equus Film & Arts Festival in December 2023
