I’m delighted to share that my photo, “Sunflower in the Sand” was selected for the Connecticut Women Artists (CWA) Annual Members Juried Show. The show is from April 9-28, 2024 at the Artspace Hartford Gallery; 555 Asylum Avenue, Hartford, CT. Special thanks to the co-Jurors: Hilary Wittmann, Executive Director and Kristin Peterson Edwards, Director of Special Projects, The New Canaan Society for the Arts, Inc. The opening reception is Sat. April 13, 2024, 1 -3pm. This is my first time in the CWA Annual Members Show.

“Journey of the Dream Team”

Sarah is always excited to share her love for the horses of the Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue (CDHR) through her artistry. CDHR is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2011 by Stacey Golub, DVM, and is dedicated to saving the lives of draft horses that were bound for slaughter, in addition to victims of starvation, neglect, or abuse whose owners are unable to provide for their needs. Sarah has been the official photographer for CDHR since 2014 and has been the VP of the Board of Directors since 2015. Sarah is honored to be part of this wonderful organization and is committed to CDHR's legacy, especially with this story of Spencer & Oliver, the Percheron "Dream Team".
